Sunday, February 28, 2021: Each Sunday, in many of our UU congregations, the assembly lights the chalice and sings a familiar song: “This Little Light of Mine, I’m gonna let It Shine.” The second verse promises: “Everywhere I go, I’m gonna let it shine.” This past year has taken us to some challenging places where shining our light has been more difficult, but all the more important. In this service to launch our 2021 Stewardship campaign, we’ll celebrate our resilience and successes in a pandemic year of virtual church and commit to the stewardship needed to keep the bright light of our beloved congregation shining on.
