Behind the 8 Ball: The 8th Principle Project and Infighting about Anti-Racism

All are welcome!  Masks are required.
Is there a right way to be anti-racist? As consciousness about white supremacy and anti-racism has been heightened, so has the infighting about how to talk about and approach the process. We’ll explore some of the more recent productive and counterproductive arguments and their impact, and revisit the 8th Principle project, a UU initiative to add a principle about intentional anti-racism in our denomination to the existing seven. Are we now ready as a congregation to support this initiative? Rev. Robin Landerman Zucker, preaching, with Worship Associate Cheryl Austin offering a personal reflection and music from Jason Drahos and Austin Shaw. The service will also include a Social Justice Witness.
