- We did not have enough older kiddos last week to play Tree Jeopardy, so, hopefully we can do it this week. Here are the answers if you want to play at home!
What you can do this week at home:
There are several ways to take today’s workshop home, for example:
- Find more “metaphors” for the benefits of trees and do the activity with friends or family members; you might even try it as a charades game.
- Find out more about UU musician and songwriter Jim Scott and his commitment to the environment, peace, and justice.
- Create a nature journal to record your observations and feelings about trees as you deepen your connection over the course of this program.
- Share your thoughts and feeling about today’s workshop and the Circle of Trees program with family members, housemates, or co-workers.
- Try to spend time outside each day, paying special attention to the trees near where you live. This is an especially beautiful time of year to head up to the mountain and admire the Aspens!
- Think about ways that you can engage with people and trees with respect.
