Intense planning continues! We have a draft contract and will receive a final estimate from the contractor this Friday, which will hopefully lead to a final contract and a construction schedule soon after. The architect has just resubmitted the updated plans to the city, addressing their comments. We should hear back from the city on the permit in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, Unisource will be tearing up the backyard as they relocate the neighbor’s gas line. This part of the project should be starting this week, probably by the time you read this article. Please stay out of the backyard and away from the alley until completion. I believe they will need a couple of weeks to do their work.
